A Little Bit About Me...
Lucy was seized by the sheriff from a cruel home and sent to a sale barn. We rescued her, and she was immediately sent to the hospital to be evaluated. When she came home to us, she was in poor health, scoring a 2 out of 10 on the body health scale. Our vet estimated she needed to gain 300 pounds. She is blind in one eye, possibly due to a previous injury.

She is timid and submissive to other animals, but she is smart and always observing. When it's time for her to eat, she gives a little neigh to signal she's ready. She finds peace eating with the donkeys, goats, and Daisy.
